The Peoria Public Library appreciates the outstanding work our volunteers perform. There are numerous volunteer opportunities at the library.

Every Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 volunteers sort and price books for the Book Sale Room. Other volunteers stock the room, work at programs, work in the office, help tag books with RFID technology, work on landscaping, the library TV show and so much more. Our flexible schedules allow you to fit in some worthwhile fun. It is a great way to meet other volunteers and help our library provide additional service to the public.
