Peoria Public Library's Bookmobile

The Bookmobile carries a wide selection of books for all ages. DVDs and magazines are also available. Patrons may reserve and make special requests for other materials.

Patrons may apply for library cards on the Bookmobile. The same card may be used at all branches of the Peoria Public Library, and on the Bookmobile. The first is free; however, a $2.00 replacement fee is charged for lost cards.

The Bookmobile runs on a weekly schedule. Materials are loaned for two weeks. Stops may be cancelled because of holidays, weather conditions, or mechanical difficulties. In these cases, fines for overdue materials will be adjusted.

In the event the Bookmobile is out of service for any reason, it will be posted on our web site at and announced on WMBD television and radio.
