Oct. 1-25 — Come closest to guessing the weight of the pumpkin — and it’s yours! Lincoln Branch.

October 1-31 — Play Horror Bingo and maybe win a prize. Pick up cards at Lakeview & North branches. Adults only.

Saturday, Oct. 16 — Makes Skull String Art with us. (3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., McClure Branch) Ages 12-18. Call ahead: 497-2700.

Monday, Oct. 18 — Turn your sweet Barbie into a salivating Zombie with our craft supplies & your creativity. (3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Lincoln Branch) Ages 12-18.

Monday, Oct. 18 — We’re showing the 1999 film “Sleepy Hollow” starring Johnny Depp at 10:30 a.m. at McClure Branch. Adults only.

Oct. 18-30 — Pick up a Flying Witch Craft-to-go at McClure Branch. While supplies last. For children of all ages.

Thursday, Oct. 21 — Learn what makes a great ghost story and then practice writing your own. ( 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Lincoln Branch) Ages 6-11.

Monday, Oct. 25 — We’re showing the classic horror film “Rosemary’s Baby” at 10:30 a.m. at McClure Branch. Adults only.

Oct. 25-31 — Pick up a Halloween Craft-to-Go at North Branch. While supplies last. Children of all ages.

Oct. 25-28 — Can you escape our Campsite Escape Room? (3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Lincoln Branch) Must call ahead: 497-2600. Teens only.

Wednesday, Oct. 27 — We’re telling not-so-scary stories by the “campfire.” Bring the family! (7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., North Branch) Grades 1 to 5.

Friday, Oct. 29 — Trunk or Treat with us at Lincoln Branch. (3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Lincoln Branch) Children of all ages.

Friday, Oct. 29 — Our after-hours murder mystery at Lakeview Branch — “Murder on the Continental Express” requires registration. Call 497-2200. Adults only.

Saturday, Oct. 30 — We’ll decorate sugar skulls for Day of the Dead. (2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., Lakeview Branch) Ages 14-18.

Saturday, Oct. 30 — We’re showing the Disney film “Coco” (in Spanish with English subtitles) to celebrate Day of the Dead. (3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Lincoln Branch)

Oct. 29-31 — Trick or Treat at Lakeview Branch. Stop by in your costume anytime we’re open and receive a treat. For all ages.
