Peoria Public Library is proud to host Victoria Christopher Murray, one of the country’s top African American contemporary authors this summer.
Meet Ms. Murray during a special event 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 5 at Lincoln Branch, 1312 W. Lincoln Ave.
She’s a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than 30 novels, including the New York Times Instant Best Sellers, The Personal Librarian and The First Ladies. Both novels, Victoria co-wrote with Marie Benedict.
Her latest book, released this year, is Harlem Rhapsody, about the woman who kicked off the Harlem Renaissance. Described as page-turning historical fiction.
This event is free and open to all. Book signing opportunity.
