FRIENDLY FINDS | Friends of Peoria Public Library Book Store

Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (2nd and 4th) from Noon to 4 p.m.

NOTE: Our bookstore is only able to accept cash or check. We expect to have cash/debit card payments available soon.

The Friendly Finds Book Store, located on Lower Level 2 of Main Library, features a large collection of gently used hardback and paperback books, as well as DVDs, CDs and other materials. The majority of the 10,000-plus titles you’ll find there have been pulled from the library’s shelves to make room for new books, movies and music.

Proceeds from each sale are reinvested in helping the library expand programming, host author events and fund our special Summer Reading celebrations.

A dedicated group of volunteers from Friends of Peoria Public Library manage the book store, as well as coordinate a large annual book sale every March.

While Main Library’s book store has the largest selection, you will find designated shelves of used books for sale at every Peoria Public Library location.
