Learn more about the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women during Women’s History Month at Peoria Public Library.

The library’s Local History & Genealogy Department is the best place to start for a deep dive into our local history of women leaders. Well-known names like Lydia Moss Bradley, Betty Freidan, Valeska Hinton — just to name a few.

You can also find women important to your history with our genealogy resources.

We also have a couple fun and educational programs scheduled.
