Interested in sharing your artistic skills with our community — and getting paid for it?
Peoria Public Library, thanks to a grant from Delta Kappa Gamma Nu’s Lambda State Foundation for Educational Studies, is seeking an artist in residence for 2023.
We’re looking for someone willing to informally teach visitors to McClure Branch during “office hours,” provide formal learning in a monthly library program open to all ages and work closely with a community organization serving youth to formally teach kids/teens in our community.
For this Spring 2023 session, we will work with a writer and a visual artist who will teach students and help create a book for publication and circulation at Peoria Public Library.
