Join us for First Friday Art for Kids at North Branch!
Every month, we’ll be creative and try art projects based on a different famous artist every month. Dress for a mess. For children of all ages.
Every first Friday of the month from 4-5 p.m. at North Branch, 3001 W. Grand Pkwy.
December – Create circles/Shape art inspired by the work of Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky.
January – Continue exploring the vibrant shapes and colors of abstract art with an abstract self-portrait inspired by Pablo Picasso.
February – Try your hand at Pointillism (or dot painting), based on the work of Georges Seurat.
March – Experiment with bold color and textures inspired by the artwork of Vincent Van Gogh.
April – Make some April flowers based on the work of American artist Georgia O’Keeffe.
